Cropped HD video shows the fight close up between Joe Kapp and Angelo Mosca at the 2011 CFL Alumni Legends Luncheon.
Mosca starts it with an off color comment. Kapp aggravates Mosca after rubbing a flower in his face & then "hitting," Mosca with it. Mosca responds by knocking Kapps glasses off with his cane, only to just miss Kapp's head a 2nd x.
Kapp should've never shoved the flower in Mosca's face, although it appears to be a very lame attempt at trying to lighten the moment. He should've walked away, instead he drops the mic before he drops Mosca (who can't stand anyway without his cane).
Punching Mosca is tasteless because he is disabled. It doesn't matter if he over reacted, you don't punch out someone who is unable to stand.
What you don't see here, but appears in the full length version at about 7 minutes in, Kapp really shows his distaste for Mosca & his lack of class by telling the story in which he refers to Willie Fleming who Mosca tackled in '63. Willie has a dog named ANGELO & he wanted Mosca to know that he kicks the shit out of the dog everyday. REAL CLASSY.
